☀️WITH BEAUTIFUL ART INTO A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND!🌹

👌 The German landscape painter Heinrich Böhmer (1852 - 1930) established his reputation by preferably painting forest landscapes from the Harz, the Eifel, the Vogelgebirge and the Odenwald, with which he gave expression to the romantic „forest soul“ of his fellow countrymen. Böhmer's art is distinguished, among others, in achieving atmospheric effects through backlighting and coordinated colouring.

👏 Framed by the symphonic intermezzo "Meditation" from the opera "Thaïs" by the French composer Jules Massenet in the most sentimental style of the fin de siècle, the yearning for the redeeming peaceful tranquillity of the forest expressed in Böhmer's paintings is even intensified.
